Custom CRM & Incident Management

The problem. The client's incident response team was running on a mix of spreadsheets, shared mailboxes and a generic accounts system that nobody fully trusted. Data was inconsistent, calls were missed, and the management reports they wanted simply weren't possible without manual collation.

What we built. A bespoke Incident Management System written around the client's actual incident management process — their terminology, their workflow stages, their reporting needs. Incident capture forms feed straight into the system, follow-ups generate reminders automatically, and the management dashboards show the numbers the partners care about.

The outcome. A single source of truth that the incident response team actually uses every day, wherever they are in the world, with reporting the partners trust. Onboarding new starters is faster — the system maps to the way the business already works, rather than the other way round.

  • Tailored workflow stages and incident prioritisation
  • Automated follow-up reminders and email logging
  • Custom dashboards for partners and team leads
  • Role-based access for incident responders, admin and management teams
  • Import from the previous system with full history preserved

Search & Booking Platform

The problem. The holiday cottage client was struggling with their existing website, built many years prior. Users were experiencing difficulties in finding available properties and completing bookings efficiently.

What we built. A bespoke website and booking engine that handles real-time availability across multiple resources, takes online payment at the point of booking, and sends automated confirmations and reminders. The admin side gives staff a clear overview of bookings and availability.

The outcome. Bookings come in 24/7, with the diary finally being a single source of truth, and admin time on reminder calls has effectively disappeared. The client added new affiliate API in the second year, allowing external access to the holiday properties for additional affiliate marketing.

  • Real-time availability across multiple resources
  • Online payment via Stripe at point of booking
  • Automated confirmation and reminder emails
  • Cancellation calculations and handling
  • Admin dashboard for staff to manage bookings and availability
  • Affiliate API for external booking partners

Database Migration & Rebuild

The problem. A long-standing critical business database had grown organically over many years. Performance was deteriorating, backups were ad hoc, and nobody in-house was confident enough with the schema to make changes safely.

What we built. Migrated the database to SQL Server in Azure, rebuilt the schema with proper normalisation and indexing, introduced automated backups and put monitoring in place so issues surface before users notice them. The web front end was rebuilt alongside so nothing changed for end users.

The outcome. Day-to-day customer interactions are dramatically faster, backups are reliable and tested, and the client now has ongoing DBA cover so they never have to wonder whether the database is okay. The rebuild gave them a foundation to add new reporting without fighting performance.

  • Migration from legacy database to SQL Server in Azure
  • Schema redesign with proper normalisation and indexing
  • Automated daily backups with off-site copies
  • Performance monitoring and alerting
  • Ongoing DBA cover and support
  • Zero-downtime cutover for the user-facing application
